Veggie Flatbread Pizza Recipe



Ingredients:

1 recipe for a pizza crust enough to fill a large jelly roll pan (I used my gluten free pizza crust)
2 tsp basil, 2 tsp oregano, 2 tsp thyme to herb flavor the pizza crust
1 - 8oz package of cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup sour cream
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/4 tsp dried basil
1/4 tsp dried oregano
1/8 tsp black pepper
2-3 medium carrots, shredded
2 cups broccoli, chopped small

Instructions :
  1. Mix the herbs into your pizza crust batter and spread onto a Silpat or parchment paper lined jelly roll pan. Bake according to your pizza recipe's instructions until the crust is done - I baked mine at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Set the crust aside to completely cool.
  2. When the crust is cooled, you can mix your spread. Put the rest of the ingredients except the carrots and broccoli into a small mixing bowl and use hand beaters to mix well. You can adjust the flavors to your taste at this point.
  3. Slide the cooled pizza crust onto a cutting board and spread the cream cheese mixture over the entire surface. Cut the crust into the shapes you wish and top with fresh veggies.
