Ingredients:
1 recipe for a pizza crust enough to fill a large jelly roll pan (I used my gluten free pizza crust)
2 tsp basil, 2 tsp oregano, 2 tsp thyme to herb flavor the pizza crust
1 - 8oz package of cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup sour cream
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/4 tsp dried basil
1/4 tsp dried oregano
1/8 tsp black pepper
2-3 medium carrots, shredded
2 cups broccoli, chopped small
Instructions :
- Mix the herbs into your pizza crust batter and spread onto a Silpat or parchment paper lined jelly roll pan. Bake according to your pizza recipe's instructions until the crust is done - I baked mine at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Set the crust aside to completely cool.
- When the crust is cooled, you can mix your spread. Put the rest of the ingredients except the carrots and broccoli into a small mixing bowl and use hand beaters to mix well. You can adjust the flavors to your taste at this point.
- Slide the cooled pizza crust onto a cutting board and spread the cream cheese mixture over the entire surface. Cut the crust into the shapes you wish and top with fresh veggies.
